Surabaya North Quay celebrating Surabaya Anniversary

Surabaya (20/5) - May 31 is a historic day awaited by the people of Surabaya. Because on that day the City of Heroes is birthday and always enlivened with various special event titles. Starting from a variety of music events, fashion shows, culinary tours, cultural parades and flower parades, to massive discounts at various shopping centers in Surabaya.

Pelindo III also celebrated the 72nd anniversary of the city of Surabaya by providing opportunities for business owners to open free outlets in Surabaya North Quay, Tanjung Perak Port, which became a new marine tourism destination.

"The business potential in Surabaya is very fast growing, we hope that the Surabaya North Quay can also advance home business, especially home industry businesses in Surabaya," said Prasetyo, Managing Director of Pelindo Properti Indonesia, which is the business wing of Pelindo III in the property business.

The special offer will only last for two weeks until the end of May and begin to attract business owners. "Pelindo III wants to open opportunities for business owners to be able to introduce their products to visitors," he added.

People who visit Surabaya North Quay this weekend can also see the magnificent close of the Sorlandet ship from Norway. The Viking ship, which was similar to the KRI Dewa Ruci, looked sturdy even though it had sailed since 1927. The ship, 65 meters long, 9 meters wide, and weighing 499 GRT, came directly from Norway and across several countries, such as Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and of course Indonesia.

As a series of events, a Parenting Seminar will be held at Surabaya North Quay on May 28, 2016. "Pelindo III continues to optimize Surabaya North Quay so that it is not only the best place to enjoy the sunset atmosphere in Surabaya, but it is also useful to facilitate the needs of the public's space for educational activities," concluded Prasetyo.
